Newest Beach Club announcement. Note all the "will be" language. Looks and sounds just like the one that said the beach club would be open in 2006. Membership $20,000? What about all the people that paid $30,000. And the "Club reserves the right to modify the Membership Plan and prices at its discretion". Basically, that means they do not have to move forward with any of these facilities if they change their mind, after you have paid. And what does refundable mean? Remember the Letter to the Editor in the Eastern Shore newspaper article ? If not, the link is below. Many people with the same opinion.

A Special Message from Dick Foster to the Bay Creek Family
Dear Family and Friends of Bay Creek,
It seems no area of our lives has been left untouched in some way by the most
devastating economic times in our memory! The uncertainty surrounding all this has
stymied business decisions across the country making it even more difficult for all of
us.
I want to assure you that we here at Bay Creek remain committed to the vision we
have set out to achieve, the vision I feel you share for the continued quality of life
we enjoy in our community experience. Although it has been extremely challenging
during these times we are very optimistic about the future here at Bay Creek Resort.
We are looking forward to better times ahead and to help demonstrate that
confidence I am very pleased to inform you that we have decided now is the time to
add another major amenity to the Bay Creek life style.
Our plans are to begin construction of the much awaited Beach Club and Fitness
Center which will be a Member/Resort Guest facility to be located in Bayside Village.
We will work hard to complete construction over the winter and have it ready for
use late next spring or early summer. It will feature three swimming pools
(including an indoor lap pool), a member lounge and snack bar, fitness center and an
area dedicated to youth activities. I am eager to share the detailed plans with you
and have asked the architects to prepare renderings as soon as possible. The site
for the new facility has been shifted a block or so to the east. It will sit prominently
at the top of the “hill” on the north side coming in to the Bayside Village. From this
vantage point there will be spectacular views across the park and over the Bay.
I hope you share my excitement and that you will look forward to taking advantage
of this great community enriching facility and sharing it with your family and
friends!!

However, it is now 1/1/2012. Here is the status.....
No survey flags, no moving earth, no foundation started. The only "beach club" on
the east coast that is 3 blocks from the beach?
We were so worried when we couldn't find him as we all know Bay Creek would be lost without him! But not to worry! In case of a Bay Creek emergency, you can always find him relaxing and basking in the sun or enjoying some shade of town trees in front of the hardware store.
If you miss him there, try Rayfield's. When finished the town gossip and discussing who is delinquent in homeowner dues on Mason Avenue, he heads off to Rayfields to make sure no scuttlebutt has been missed. Now, it's time to go to relax at Coach House Tavern after a such a long day's work. After all, being seen on site at the end of the day reassures us all he's on top of everything.
At the end of this exhausting day, it's time to stop at the liquor store on Rt 13 in Cape Charles....in the Bay Creek truck no less. The day has been sooooo stressful it's time for a cocktail.
All Bay Creek residents can now rest easy tonight knowing our head of security is doing such an awesome job.


Linda Buskey, Sales Manager for Bay Creek in arrears for 2 properties. Although a partner of Twisted Sister, her name is not listed on that judgment stating not found/unserved? Community Group knows she is an owner of the Twisted Sister house as she has been contacted many times regarding tenant issues. She collected rent on that house but has not satisfied the judgment. Sounds like discrimination when the Association only forces some of us to follow the rules. This judgement below is still unpaid.

Cape Charles development gains owners, cash infusion
"Oral Lambert, chief executive officer of Bay Creek Resort, described the infusion of capital as "fairly substantial" but declined to disclose the amount. The funds, he said, will be used to develop property in Bay Creek's golf district."

Someone saw the cash but it certainly wasn't the homeowners.
"Based on our role as the day-to-day manager and our ability to control all major decisions of the venture, the accounts of Bay Creek are included in our consolidated financial statements."

We really need to find out who is the majority owner, who is in charge, and who bears the responsibility of providing the ammenities promised to secure our purchases in Bay Creek.
